Making the Best of a Ghost Town

BYU has def been a ghost town this weekend. From the 175 people in my ward I bet about 15 stayed on campus. A lot of card playing, Catan, and Murder in the dark was played. It was fun none the less though. Last night I thought my night would consist of something like this:

However, It did know go according to plan. My dearest Addie I love her to death but she always tries to set me up on dates and they always fail. The guy I was supposed to go on a date with bailed and I was left with m night looking something like this...:

hahaa well, maybe it wasn't that bad. But I  did get all cute for nothing. We did decorate Jack's tree and make snowflakes for our dorm which was way fun :)

Looks pretty good i think;) But yeah, we just did basically nothing all night. Thats okay though, sometimes its okay to have a down weekend. 

Church today was only 2 hours due to there only being about 30 people there. Whoo!

I love lazy Sundays :) 

Thanksgiving Feast

Thanksgiving!!!!!! Such a wonderful holiday. I am so grateful for my family and my friends. I love that my sisters live close by since I could not come home for Thanksgiving this year. Im thankful for the opportunity that I have to be at BYU and the wonderful people here. Im thankful that I can live in a free country.  It was the first year I did not have Thanksgiving with my intermediate family. It was nice though.
I need to start my diet ASAP though;) I do NOT want to go to class on Monday. Ick. Then finals. I am so not ready for those.

Tonight I had a very interesting night. I walked into the dorms and it was a ghost town. NO ONE is here. Its so crazy. I watched the boys play cards then me and McKann went to In-N-Out. It was my first time! It was pretty good even though i should not have eaten it! But I had to for the experience of eating there haha.

Then as we are driving there her transmission stops working! Apparently Jack had driven it wrong earlier in the day and it just stopped working! So we had to have her mom pick us up and and I think Stacey is a goner:(

I love the beautiful christmas lights. We drove past some really nice houses with lights and it just starts up the Christmas season, i LOVE it!:)

Then just came back and chilled for a bit. It's been a good night for the most part. Ready for all my roommies to come back though!

One of Those Days

So today was just one of those days, you know the days when from the start of when you wake of everything goes wrong? Yep, one of THOSE days.

Well first I wake up and my hair is a fro, and I'm not kidding, a FRO!

So Suzanne is laughing at me because of my ferocious fro and then it happened. I don't even know HOW it happened. I either turned to fast or it fell out of sweatshirt pocket, idk. But my phone fell in the toilet!!!! I seriously was like really?!  Luckily it was BEFORE I had gone to the bathroom. I was freaking out and thought i was doomed but luckily, idk how. IT WORKS!!! I didn't even put it in rice so lets hope it holds out until Christmas.

Well then I went to class at 8 and after I decided to go back to bed and start all over again, thinking that would help. It didn't. I was going to sleep for an hour then run and get stuff done. I ended up sleeping for 2 and NOT getting stuff done, nor getting ready for the day so I look like I complete soccer mom. Also, while dreaming I had some funky dreams that I thought were real and I woke up thinking I had made out with my friend's boyfriend and missed my morning class! I was so discombobulated..

So I go to Bio and everything is fine and dandy. After I decide to go to the creamery to get rice to put my phone in just in case. I go and get 25 dollars worth of food and what do you know, I don't have my ID card. So i have to use my debit card and I overdraft. Awesome. Love being poor. Please Call me Jamb Juice. Oh and I forgot the rice.

So i was walking home to bake Stratton a cake for his birthday and I was so excited because I had a great idea. MISSIONARY CAKE! So i bake it and while it's in the oven, Katelyn comes in and is like "Uh, Cassie, Stratton already went home" REALLY!? BYE! like uhhh haha. So I was like well ill send him a picture. haha. He loved it though luckily:)

After that it was just little things, something fell of my desk, my important research paper didn't print out right, I had a headache.

But working out kind of calms my nerves. FHE was good, we made soldiers cards for the holidays.

I only have one class tomorrow and I doubt I'll go. Im ready for the break! And then only 2 more weeks of classes, then finals, then HOME SWEET HOME!!!!:)

Time Flies When You're Having Fun

These past few weeks have been crazy. Halloween was way fun. Me and Jack were Catwomen and Batman:)

School is getting better even though I am still not doing so hot on tests. Hopefully finals will go better.

Me and Suzanne dyed our hair dark! I think I like my hair better blonde but sometimes it's nice to have a change.

I can't believe that Thanksgiving is on Thursday!!!!! I can't wait to eat so much food, but after that my diet HAS to start!;)

27 days til I come home for Christmas and I simply cannot wait! I miss all my friends back home so much and can't wait to have our annual Christmas Gift Exchange.

My Birthday went well. Me and Hannah had a dance party and i would say that it went pretty well:) I can't believe I am 19!! It feel like it was only yesterday I was turning 16 and getting my car!!! ( and almost hitting the family of 5 at Angelos!)

I also changed my major officially. It is just an open major for now because many programs you have to apply to. I'm pretty set on public relations and minor in business though. I think I would enjoy it. My dream job would be to work for some fashion company or magazine but I will see what life throws me!

Well that basically wraps up the last month and tonight is the Football Game. Go BYU!!!
